Meet Henry, otherwise known as 50 Sense!

Henry retired from racing at the grand old age of 2 and has been living his best life ever since!

Now 7, he's swapped the racetrack for hiking adventures with his owners and has become quite the professional poser along the way.

Safe to say, retirement suits him! 🥹

We’re absolutely delighted to be nominated for a national RTPI Award, following our regional win earlier this year!

It’s fantastic to see The Edge recognised for the positive impact it’s having on Whitehaven and our local community. We’re incredibly proud to be part of it!

More award success for The Edge in Whitehaven

Following its win at the RTPI North West Awards for Planning Excellence earlier this year, The Edge, Cumbria’s Coastal Activities Centre in Whitehaven, has now been nominated for a national Royal Town Planning Institute Award in the Excellence in Planning for a Successful Economy category.

The nomination recognises the important role The Edge Hotel - Whitehaven is playing in supporting Whitehaven’s economy, attracting visitors and creating new opportunities for the local community.

Delivered through partnership working and supported by Sellafield Ltd and the Coastal Communities Fund, the team will find out if it has taken home the national award at the ceremony in London this December.
