A new name but the same celebration of the Stour

One of the district's top environmental festivals returns later this month with a new organisation at the helm and a new name - Stour Valley Riverfest.

The festival runs from Sunday 20 to Sunday 27 September and is now organised by the Kentish Stour Countryside Partnership, but it still has the same key aim at its heart: a celebration of all things River Stour.

From the annual Rotary Club Duck Race and river cleans, to walks, talks and family activities, expect a week of events aimed at celebrating the Stour's historical, cultural and environmental importance to the district.
