All our rooms come fully equipped with flat screen TVs, and tea and coffee facilities. We have a cosy bar offering a wide range of hot and cold beverages, and a spacious dining room serving full meals from our a la carte our specials menu. We can also offer us

e of our spacious function room for any occasion - small or large. Outside we have a beautifully maintained and secure garden, which contains a play area, football nets and basketball hoop to keep the little or big ones entertained. Also outside we benefit from a large parking area, and camping field if you choose to bring your own accommodation. Whatever your needs, we aim to please.

🌟💙 SOLD OUT — THANK YOU! 💙🌟

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our Charity Family Fun Day & Night at Wheyrigg Hall Hotel on Saturday 10th October is now completely SOLD OUT! ❤️

On behalf of the Wannop family, we would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who has bought a ticket, donated a prize, made a contribution, offered their time or simply helped us spread the word.

This very special event is being held in support of two incredible causes:

💙 Motor Neurone Disease (MND)
🌻 Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland

The generosity we have already received from individuals, friends, families and local businesses has been truly wonderful. No donation is ever too big or too small — every prize, every pound and every gesture of support will help us raise vital funds and make a difference to people and families who need these organisations.

Although the event itself is now sold out, our fundraising certainly isn’t! 🙏 We would still be incredibly grateful for auction or raffle prizes, donations, vouchers, experiences, products or financial contributions from anyone who would like to support these two very special causes.

This evening means so much to the Wannop family, and seeing so many people come together to support it has already made it incredibly special. ❤️

❤️ WHEN WHEYRIGG HALL BECOMES MORE THAN JUST A HOTEL… ❤️

We woke up to the most beautiful blog post written about Wheyrigg Hall Hotel by Coconut Travel Ltd and we simply had to share it. 🥹❤️

Claire and her family first came to stay with us during an incredibly emotional time for their family. What began as a trip filled with precious memories of Silloth and a much-loved dad has now become a family tradition — and we feel genuinely privileged that Wheyrigg Hall has become part of their story.

To hear such lovely words about our rooms, our food, our beautiful Cumbrian surroundings and, most importantly, our wonderful team and the welcome they give our guests, means more to us than you could imagine. 🥰

Knowing this was their third stay, and that they’ve already booked to return again next year, really is the biggest compliment we could receive.

As a family-run hotel, this is exactly what we want Wheyrigg Hall to be — somewhere you can relax, enjoy good food, explore our beautiful corner of Cumbria and make memories with the people who matter most. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us last night. ❤️ We were absolutely blown away by the support and once again had a complete sellout!

Our suppliers are already on the move, with more fresh produce arriving ready for another busy day at Wheyrigg Hall Hotel. 🥩🥬🍽️

We’d also like to say a genuine thank you for your patience, understanding and kindness towards our team. With such an incredibly busy service, we know some of you waited a little longer than usual and, yes… there were one or two little hiccups along the way! 🫣 Your support and good humour really were appreciated by everyone working hard behind the scenes and front of house. ❤️

And now we’re ready to do it all again!
