We’re delighted to say that Ride to Remembrance is back for its third year at The Cricketers Inn.
72 hours | 05–08 November | In aid of The Royal British Legion
Over the past two events, our community has ridden 3,339 km, climbed 45,215 metres and, most importantly, raised £8,000 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. None of this would have been possible without the riders, donors, sponsors and supporters from across the valley — thank you.
This year we’ll once again keep a single Zwift bike moving continuously for 72 hours, with riders taking 30-minute slots throughout the day and night. It’s not about speed or distance — it’s simply about taking part and helping us keep the wheels turning for a cause that means so much to so many.
We’re asking for a minimum donation of £10 per riding slot. If you’re able to give a little more, every extra pound will help us raise as much as possible for the Poppy Appeal.

Once you have booked your ride and donated please drop us an email or WhatsApp message so we can match your donation to your booking.
You don’t need to ride to support us. Donations, sharing the event and encouraging friends, family or colleagues to take part all make a huge difference.
There will also be plenty of smaller ways to help over the weekend — including homemade sweet treats with profits donated to the Poppy Appeal, plus profits from one of our ales going towards the total. So yes, even a pint can help!
We’re also inviting local businesses to become event supporters, with sponsorship opportunities across the pub, website, email, social media and event coverage. If your business would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
