The Grot at Rydal Hall is one of the best hidden gems in the Lake District. Only a short drive from the pods.

Staying at the pods puts you right in the middle of all of it. Good base, good walks, great pub at the end of the day 🍻

Thinking about bringing the dog to the Lake District? 🐾

Here is what to know about staying at the pods. Five of our eight woodland pods are dog-friendly. There are walks right on the doorstep that are perfect for a full day out and the Brown Horse Inn welcomes dogs in the bar too, so evenings are easy.

Flowers in bloom, long evenings and the woodland at its best. If you are looking for a proper getaway this spring/summer, the pods are the perfect place to relax.

Five of our eight woodland pods are dog-friendly, so there is room for the whole family. The Lake District has some of the best dog walks in the country right on the doorstep and dogs are welcome at the Brown Horse Inn too (in the bar area only)

Long walks, muddy paws, a warm pod and an easy evening. That is the Lake District done properly.

Bring the dog and make a weekend of it. 🐾

Some of the best evenings happen without much planning.

A short walk from the pods and you are at the Brown Horse Inn. Good food, a well-kept pint, warm atmosphere and genuinely no need to be anywhere else for the rest of the evening.

It is one of the things that makes staying here feel a little more complete. The pod handles the sleep. The Brown Horse handles the rest.
