The new menu in Blue Smoke at Low Wood Bay has arrived...
Lunch is built around fire: torched burrata, tuna tataki, Lebanese flatbreads, the kind of food that makes a midweek afternoon by Lake Windermere feel like a proper occasion. In the evening, wagyu steak specials join the menu for anyone looking to make a night of it.
And then there's the Carnivore Sharing Board, which is exactly what it sounds like. Four Blue Smoke-rubbed chicken skewers, crispy duck pancakes, a wood-fired and carved 10oz rump steak, a 16oz sweet-cure bacon chop, a full rack of Korean BBQ ribs, two minted lamb chops, slaw, skinny fries, beer-battered onion rings, toffee onion mayonnaise, Korean BBQ sauce, and pink peppercorn sauce.
