Did someone say spa?

One of the great — if slightly expensive — perks of living in the Lakes is the number of spas we have nearby. Naturally, we see it as our job to try them out for our guests.

Today we’re at Lakeside in Newby Bridge: massage, facial, steam and swim. Highly recommend if you want a bit of pamper time😊

Saturday night was treat night for us this week! 😊

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Brambalino’s Bistro in Windermere – a fantastic burger followed by the most delicious brownie. 🍔🍫 Such a lovely, quaint little bistro if you fancy a cosy, friendly meal.

Afterwards, we headed down to Bowness and spent the evening at The Royalty Cinema to watch one of the best tribute acts we've seen in a long time – Coldplace.

If you're looking for a great night out, I'd highly recommend checking out The Royalty Cinema's website to see what shows they have coming up. A few weeks ago, we saw Ray Quinn there, and he was absolutely fantastic too 🎶 💃

The weather is fabulous here in Windermere today, perfect for a cheeky lunch out. Pizza and drinks at Cafe Italia. Delicious & just a 2 minute walk away from our guesthouse. Let’s hope the weather is here to stay 🌞

We are having amazing weather recently, so today we are making the most of it with a lovely early morning walk to the stepping stones and Loughrigg. Perfect way to start the day. ☀️🚶‍♂️🌿

A night off means dinner out at one of our favourites. Boardwalk in Bowness—great food, lovely drinks, and a lake view. Highly recommend ❤️

Great weather calls for a leisurely walk up Orrest Head 🌿 Finished it off with milkshakes in the village. A lovely way to spend the day.

Got our walking boots on this morning and made the most of the gorgeous weather ☀️ A lovely, leisurely stroll down to Bowness, an ice cream by the lake, and then on to Cockshott Point to feed the ducks 🦆 Perfect start to the day!

What gorgeous weather we’re having! ☀️ Fingers crossed it is supposed to stay with us all weekend—perfect for cocktails by the lake 🍹

Spent a drizzly morning down at Windermere Jetty picking up some leaflets for the year ahead. There are so many new activities and attractions happening this year!

We stopped for some cake, enjoyed the views over the lake, and learned a lot about the local area, businesses and the museum. Such a lovely little place and definitely well worth a visit 😊
