Crafter's Retreat Luxury private holiday retreat with hot tub on the Norfolk/Cambs border Although we are of course on hand if you need us, we respect your privacy at all times.

Crafter's Retreat is nestled cosily in its own, self-contained private garden extending to around a quarter of an acre. Despite its seclusion and privacy, this secret gem is ideally placed for those seeking to explore East Anglia with its pretty coastline; and local amenities are also just a stone's throw away.

​Crafter's Retreat is so named because it's located behind our self-contained gardens

and studios where we offer private 1-2-1 pottery and woodturning experiences. This peaceful location is perfect for getting those creative juices flowing, and we've even equipped the cabin with an easel for those who might want to paint or sketch in the garden. After parking in the large private carpark, take the path that leads to your secluded retreat. The path and access to the cabin are suitable for wheelchair users. You are greeted by a welcoming, pretty veranda where you'll find a large, inviting hydrotherapy spa (hot tub) and patio furniture - simply perfect for al fresco dining. From the moment you walk through the wide double entrance doors, you'll feel our special Crafter's Retreat hospitality. The open-plan living space offers comfy furniture and a large flat screen TV on the right, while you'll find a spacious dining area on the left.

​The well-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven & hob, microwave etc., provides all the appliances and home comforts you could need for a lovely home-cooked meal. A large, cosy bedroom with king-size bed, full-length mirror, dressing table and plenty of storage space for clothes is located towards the rear of the cabin alongside a modern bathroom that includes a double shower and heated towel rail. The cabin also boasts free WiFi, Broadband, a selection of books, board games and art supplies too. Outside, you are invited to enjoy your own private Victorian-style knot garden and a little "woodlet". There's ample space to use the provided sun loungers, and you can even toast marshmallows in the fire pit.

Ryan & Leona booked our peaceful Crafter's Retreat to get away from the stress of everyday life and to celebrate their 8th anniversary 🍷.

We're so pleased the couple enjoyed their relaxing time in our retreat.

“Our stay was absolutely amazing! Louise and Simon were perfect, always felt like if anything was needed they was right there but really respected our privacy. The cabin was beautiful, it had everything you needed, was spotlessly clean and a really nice welcoming hamper. The hot tub was also excellent, really clean. The surroundings in the garden are private and tranquil really beautiful to see the nature around. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back. Thank you both for our stay we felt rested and refreshed completely!”⁠

Our Crafter's Retreat gardens play host to an amazing variety of birdlife, insects and nature.

Our little "woodlet" provides habitat for green & greater spotted woodpeckers, squirrels, muntjac deer ... our gardens food and shelter for a plethora of butterflies and insects (especially bumblebees) and dragonflies.

With the assistance of the Merlin Bird ID app, this morning alone I identified the birdsong of 11 different species of bird over just a 5-minute period:

- Dunnock
- Wren
- Blackbird
- Robin
- Blackcap
- Sparrow
- Goldcrest
- Song Thrush
- Wood Pigeon
- Great Tit
- Blue Tit
- Common Whitethroat ...
