At -40 degrees Celsius, moisture emitting onto eyewear freezes immediately so a solution to eliminate mask leakage was needed. Filterspec’s integrated approach also enables a much improved face fit. This assists companies that must face fit test their employees with respiratory protective equipment as required now by the Health and Safety Executive.

World Su***de Prevention Day is an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage open conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

In construction, su***de remains a devastating issue, with workers facing a significantly higher risk than the national average. It's a reminder that every person we meet on site, in the office or on the road could be carrying a burden we can't see.

With the introduction of EN 397:2025, safety helmet accessories must be tested and assessed for compatibility with the helmet they are intended to be used with.

Previously, compatibility was often assumed. Now it must be verified and documented. Using non-tested combinations may compromise safety performance, which is why compatibility has been emphasised in the new standard.
