🎃👻 WHAT A NIGHT! 👻🎃

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us last night for our Halloween party! What an absolutely fantastic turnout and what a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish! 🕷️🦇

It was wonderful to see so many of you getting into the Halloween spirit, with some fantastic costumes, plenty of dancing and lots of laughs along the way.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Although, judging by the state of Jack at the end of the night… we’re not entirely sure he made it through in one piece! 💀😂

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, supported us and helped make the evening such a success. And of course, a big shout-out to everyone who helped behind the scenes.

Same time next year? We think so! 😉

Much love,
The Salwey Arms ❤️

UPDATE - HUNTER HAS BEEN FOUND! ♥️🫶🏼

We’re asking everyone to please keep their eyes peeled for Hunter, a German Shepherd, who sadly went missing yesterday morning. ❤️

If you’re out walking, driving around the local area, or live nearby, please keep a lookout and share this post to help spread the word. Every pair of eyes could make a difference in getting Hunter safely home to his family. 🙏

⚠️ IMPORTANT: If you spot Hunter, please DO NOT chase him or follow him. This could frighten him and cause him to run further away. Instead, please stay calm, keep your distance and report the sighting immediately using the numbers below.

Please share far and wide, especially within our local community. Let’s all pull together and help bring Hunter home safely. ❤️🐾

Today, we sadly say a fond farewell to Carol Powell. ❤️

Carol was so much more than a regular customer at The Salwey Arms. She was a familiar and much-loved face, and it was always a pleasure to see her joining us for lunch. Her warmth, kindness and wonderful presence made an impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

It has been a privilege to have shared so many lovely moments with her at The Salwey, and we will remember her fondly.

Our thoughts are with Carol’s family, friends and all those who knew and loved her at this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Carol. You will be very much missed. 🕊️❤️
