Well, what a summer!

It’s been a busy one at Muriel’s Lodge, and we’ve absolutely loved it.

We’ve welcomed guests from all over the UK, as well as visitors from France, the Netherlands and Germany 🇫🇷🇳🇱🇩🇪 — which still feels quite amazing for our little lodge on the Isle of Wight!

There’s been plenty of cleaning, washing, bed changing and getting everything ready between guests But seeing people arrive, enjoy the island and leave us such lovely reviews makes it all worthwhile.

A massive thank you to everyone who chose Muriel’s Lodge for their summer stay.

We weren’t expecting this booking…

One of Fishbourne’s resident peacocks decided to stop by and inspect the facilities at Muriel’s Lodge. Thankfully, he seemed very pleased with what he found!

No complaints were received. He enjoyed the peanuts that were on offer.

So it’s not only the red squirrels you need to be on the look out for.

✨ Sorry we’ve been quiet! ✨

We’ve been a bit quiet on here as we’ve been flat out since Christmas.

From 14th July, we’ll be self-managing Muriel’s Lodge and will be coming away from cottages.com.

You’ll soon be able to find us on Booking.com, and we’re also in the process of setting up on Airbnb too.
