If you enjoy sitting around a fire pit on site, Knightwick Logs has handy fire pit packs that are completely sealed, so there’s no mess in your motorhome, caravan or car while travelling.

Each pack contains everything you need for a cosy evening outdoors, all neatly packed and easy to store.

🚐 We know fire pits aren’t permitted everywhere, so please check your site’s rules first, but they’re ideal for taking with you to sites that do allow them.

Goodwood Road Racing Club are beginning their "Malvern's Drive" this Saturday the 13th of June from The Cob House.

If you'd like to see some beautiful classic and supercars, they'll arrive from 9am and leave at 10:30

💥Summer Festival 2026💥

This one is currently full at 48 with a few reserves remaining but if it’s something you’d be interested in if a place came up please let me or Nath know, likewise if you’re on the list and plans have changed. There’s normally the odd drop off from experience.

It’s been a blast every year so far - long may it continue!

Many of you staying with us are National Trust members and take advantage of all the local attractions. Brockhampton is a favourite

Lower Brockhampton Manor House, built in 1425 for the wealthy Dumbleton family near Bromyard in Herefordshire.

Later owners of the moated and wood-framed house moved out to a new mansion within the park and the creaking building was inhabited by estate workers until a Victorian renovation by an architect named JC Buckler.

The little gatehouse over the moat was a Tudor era addition, built around 1535 and apparently the location for secret masses as the occupants of the house at the time were Catholic recusants. A couple of “Marian marks” or crossed Vs can be seen etched into the timbers as ritual protection marks.

Of course a spook or two have been reported haunting the buildings, the classic “grey lady” accompanied by the smell of perfume allegedly glides the floors while during the 1970s a former occupant in the house claimed his bedclothes were torn off during the night by an angry “presence”!

A ruined Norman chapel stands just a few yards away directly opposite, making the Lower Brockhampton estate well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

☀️ What a glorious couple of weeks it’s been here at Oak House Stays! ☀️

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed welcoming so many lovely guests throughout May. There have been plenty of chats, lots of laughter, and more than a few attempts to put the world to rights (which, given the state of things, is never a quick conversation! 😄).

One team member who has proved particularly popular is Eric, our resident robot mower. He continues to be a source of fascination as he quietly goes about his daily duties, keeping the campsite looking its best while entertaining guests along the way!

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us during May. Whether you’ve stayed on the campsite, at Berrow View, or in the Oak House Suite, we truly appreciate your support and the wonderful conversations we’ve shared.

As we look ahead to summer, we can’t wait to welcome familiar faces back and meet new guests discovering Oak House Stays for the first time.

Here’s to sunny days, peaceful evenings, new friendships, and plenty more memories made in the Worcestershire countryside. 🌳🐦🌅

The Diglis Hotel is a lovely stop-off on Worcester’s Riverside Walk. Perfectly positioned on the banks of the River Severn, it offers plenty of outdoor seating to make the most of the views, along with comfortable indoor areas if the weather isn’t playing ball.

Whether you’re enjoying a coffee, a bite to eat, or something a little stronger after your walk, the riverside setting makes it a great place to sit back and watch the world go by. The views across the river are beautiful in every season.

There are plenty of offers and events running throughout the year, and believe it or not, the “C” word (Christmas! 🎄) is already making an appearance in the plans – now that’s organised!

If you’re exploring Worcester on foot, it’s well worth adding The Diglis Hotel to your list of places to pause, relax, and enjoy the riverside atmosphere. 😊
