✨ Back from Oceania Vista

We're now back in the office after a fantastic few days onboard Oceania Vista, sailing from Lisbon to Southampton.

Trips like these are about far more than simply seeing a beautiful ship.

They allow us to experience the accommodation, restaurants and service firsthand, but just as importantly, they give us the opportunity to spend time with the people behind the brand.

During our visit we met with the Oceania team, strengthening relationships that ultimately help us look after our clients even better.

When we recommend a cruise, hotel or destination, we want that recommendation to come from personal experience, not a brochure.

A huge thank you to the Oceania team for their hospitality.

What a fantastic few days we’ve had exploring Lisbon and sailing onboard Oceania Vista.

Seeing destinations and cruise ships for ourselves is one of the best parts of our job, and helps us give our clients genuine first-hand advice and recommendations.

Now it’s time for a little sleep, a lot of unpacking, and sorting through hundreds of photos and videos!

✨But what do you actually do all day on a cruise ship?

It’s one of the questions we’re asked most often.

Today on our sea day onboard Oceania Vista we’ve:

🎨 Taken an art class
🏌️ Played a round of mini golf
💪 Visited the gym
☕ Enjoyed a leisurely coffee overlooking the ocean
🥂 Enjoyed afternoon tea
🍸 Sampled a cocktail or two
📚 Relaxed with a good book
🤩 Took a dip in the hot tub

The reality is that a sea day can be as busy or as relaxed as you want it to be.

One of the things we’re loving about Oceania Vista is that there are plenty of activities without the ship ever feeling crowded or noisy.

✨ First Imressions of Oceania Vista ✨

Wow.

Today we stepped onboard Oceania Vista as she nears the end of her incredible 180-day Around the World Voyage, and our first impressions have been fantastic.

There’s a real sense of elegance, space and calm throughout the ship, but what has really stood out so far is the guests onboard. Many have spent months travelling the world together, and some have even decorated their cabin doors with tiles and keepsakes collected from the ports they’ve visited along the way.

It’s amazing to see and a reminder that for many guests, cruising isn’t just a holiday, it’s a way of life.

We’re looking forward to exploring more over the next few days and sharing our experiences with you.

Testing Pastéis de Nata.

It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Crispy pastry, warm custard filling and surprisingly addictive. We can now confirm they’re definitely worth the hype.

If you’re visiting Lisbon, put them on your list.
