One of the things guests mention most about us is the games cabin.

It is separate from the main house, so the children and teenagers can disappear off to play games, while the adults get a bit of peace inside.

Autumn is such a lovely time to stay in Wroxham. It is quieter, the walks are beautiful, and coming back to a hot tub and a warm house feels even better at this time of year.

The Norfolk Broads Cottage sleeps up to 14, so it works really well for family get-togethers and weekends away with friends.

Summer gets all the attention, but we think The Norfolk Broads Cottage is rather good at autumn too. 🍂

Think long walks, pub lunches, everyone back under one roof for dinner, the games cabin when the weather turns, and an all-weather hot tub waiting outside afterwards.

It’s a lovely time of year for birthdays, family get-togethers and weekends away with friends, especially when you want the excuse to actually spend some proper time together.

There’s something rather lovely about going away together and the children having plenty to do without needing you every five minutes. 😄

At The Norfolk Broads Cottage, they have their own little world to disappear into, including the treehouse tucked away in the garden, the games cabin, Brio, Lego and shelves of books for different ages.

Meanwhile, the grown-ups can enjoy the hot tub, catch up over a drink, or simply enjoy five minutes of peace.

It’s one of the reasons the cottage works so well for multi-generational family stays. There’s plenty to do together, but nobody has to spend the entire weekend in the same room.

One of the best things about staying at The Norfolk Broads Cottage is the location. 🌿

We’re in Wroxham, right in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, with shops, restaurants and the water all within walking distance.

There are lovely local dog walks, plenty to explore on the Broads, and the Norfolk coast is only a short drive away too.

So you can have the peaceful cottage-and-garden weekend, but still have everything nearby when you want it.

I’m slightly surprised to be saying this, but Christmas at The Norfolk Broads Cottage is still available. 🎄

If this is the year you’d like to get the whole family together under one roof, we have Christmas week available and it is currently discounted.

There’s plenty of room for big family meals, a games cabin and treehouse for younger guests, a secure garden for the dogs, and an all-weather covered hot tub for when Christmas dinner is finally over. 😄
