⭐ Guest Feedback Matters ⭐
We're incredibly grateful for every review we receive, whether it's praise, suggestions, or constructive feedback.
One recent guest described their stay as:
"Superb quality evening meals, beautiful and comfortable lounge areas, pleasant staff, and a fantastic location for exploring Dartmoor."
They also mentioned that the mattress in Wren felt a little saggy and suggested it might be time for renewal.
At Lydgate House, we take comments like this seriously. We never see feedback as criticism; we see it as an opportunity to improve.
The good news? John, who many guests know is an antique upholsterer, had already handcrafted a brand-new bed base for Wren. Following this feedback, we took the opportunity to thoroughly test everything again, and we're pleased to say the room has since received excellent feedback from subsequent guests.
As a small, family-run hotel, we take great pride in listening, learning, and continually improving wherever we can. It's often the little details that make all the difference, and we're grateful when guests help us spot them.
