When Miss Black USA and Cultured Ghana choose Lemon Beach Resort for her stay… we felt truly honoured. Wouldn’t you? 😉

We were delighted to welcome Naiylah Archer, Miss Black USA, during her visit to Elmina—one of the world’s most historic towns, where so many people reconnect with the stories of their ancestors.

Thanks to the generosity of our guests and partners, we have donated 100 new school desks to a senior high school and completely refurbished two classrooms, creating a better learning environment for hundreds of students.

When you stay with us, you are automatically supporting the local community. A significant portion of our profits is reinvested into development projects in and around Elmina, because we believe tourism should create a positive and lasting impact.

This project is a wonderful example of the footprint our guests wanted to leave behind. We organized the entire initiative and ensured that every contribution was invested directly into the school. One classroom was sponsored by our partners, while the second was funded by Lemon Beach Resort.

If you would like your visit to make a difference too, you can choose from a variety of community impact projects before your arrival. From supporting schools and purchasing uniforms to sponsoring talented children or renovating classrooms, you can personally hand over your donation to the school and meet the students whose lives you are helping to change.
