City Circus Athens - Travelers' Inn Epaminondas Skorpideas & Dimosthenis Misentzis
(350)

City Circus Hostel is an alternative traveler’s space for the restless voyager, the escape artist, the life acrobat; this is the idea behind our circus: to dwell in the surreal, to embrace the weird, to explore with freedom. Whether you’re running away from something or towards something on your adventure, City Circus is the ideal spot to meet other restless souls and get the best out of your stay in Athens.

The heart of City Circus beats in its lobby.

From early-morning breakfasts to late-night conversations, it’s the place where days begin, friends meet, plans come together, and new connections are made. Whether you’re catching up with a friend, getting organized for the day, sharing a coffee, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, there’s always a reason to stay a little longer.

More than just a lobby, it’s a place to connect, socialize, and feel at home, all day, every day.

NEVER, but NEVER, book a hostel dorm if you don’t know these rules.

🛏️ Respect everyone’s space, your bed is yours, but the whole dorm isn’t.
🤫 Keep your voice down, especially late at night or early in the morning.
📱 Phone calls? Take them outside. Nobody wants to hear your 30-minute conversation at 2 AM.
💡 Be careful with the lights, if everyone is sleeping, don’t turn on the big light. Use your phone flashlight or your own bed light.
🎒 Pack quietly, unpacking your entire suitcase at 5 AM is NOT a personality trait. 😂
⏰ Respect sleeping hours, coming back late? Sneak mode ON.
🚿 Keep shared spaces clean, you’re sharing the room, not leaving evidence behind.
🔒 Respect other people’s belongings and keep your stuff in your own space.

Basically: you’re sharing a room, not a private apartment.

Now tell us…
What’s the ONE thing people do in dorms that drives you absolutely CRAZY?
I know you have one.

At City Circus, it’s not just about the dorms or shared spaces, there’s a whole world behind the doors.

From private rooms with their own character and style, to rooms with balconies, and others with calm city views. Some even open up to glimpses of the Acropolis.

Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, with friends, or as a family, there’s a room designed to fit the way you stay, not the other way around.

The only decision you need to make is simple: find the space that feels right for you.

Step inside a lobby that feels less like a check-in point… and more like a story waiting to be explored.

Every corner holds a detail, textures, objects, little surprises you didn’t expect. The kind of space where you arrive for a minute… and end up staying for hours.

Would you choose your hostel based on its common spaces?
