Stalos is not only a place to enjoy the sea.

Its beach is also connected to the Caretta caretta sea turtle, which has used the wider coastline of Chania as a nesting area for many years.

Their presence may be quieter today, but every nest, every hatchling and every protected part of the beach matters.

For us, being here means more than welcoming guests by the sea. It also means respecting the natural life that makes this place so special.
