For the first time this season, a Caretta caretta (Loggerhead Sea Turtle) has chosen the beach directly in front of our hotel to lay her eggs. This is a rare and beautiful reminder of the unspoiled natural environment that surrounds us.
The nest has been identified and protected by the appropriate conservation organizations to ensure the safety of the eggs until they hatch. In the coming weeks, tiny sea turtles will begin one of nature’s most extraordinary journeys, making their way from the nest to the sea.
We kindly ask all visitors to respect the protected area and help us preserve this precious wildlife habitat.
