Now that what I call a nice review :
+ This was our first time in Kavala, and we deliberately chose this apartment because of its location in the old town. We wanted to explore the city on foot and be right in the heart of it – and that was perfectly possible here.
Getting there by car was quite an adventure! 😄 The narrow, steep and winding streets of the old town are really not for the faint of heart. But we made it – and afterwards we were all the happier to have arrived here.
We liked the apartment itself immediately. It is small, cozy, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. But the most beautiful thing is undoubtedly the balcony with its incredible view over Kavala, the sea and the mountains. Sitting there in the evening, drinking a glass of w**e and simply enjoying the view was one of the most beautiful experiences we had during our stay.
The bed was comfortable, the apartment pleasantly warm, and the location simply wonderful. There are many nice cafes nearby for breakfast. The fortress and the other sights of the old town are within easy walking distance. We particularly enjoyed strolling through the small, winding streets with their beautiful architecture. Kavala has a very unique atmosphere, and the location of the apartment allowed us to truly experience it.
A big thank you also to our host! He was available throughout our entire stay, very friendly and helpful. We always felt that we could turn to him with any questions – that made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt very comfortable in this apartment and really enjoyed our stay in Kavala. If we come back to Kavala, we would very much like to choose this apartment again.
A quick note for everyone arriving by car: For inexperienced drivers, the narrow streets of the old town can certainly be a challenge when approaching.
