Earlier this week, Neptune Luxury Resort conducted a scheduled resort-wide evacuation exercise to practice emergency preparedness, reinforcing our core safety philosophy and regulatory compliance.

Food is more than what we eat. It is nourishment, livelihoods, culture and a shared responsibility.

At Neptune Luxury Resort, our approach to food starts with the land that supports it. By applying Organic Regenerative Agriculture principles across our landscape, we care for the soil, support biodiversity and grow ingredients that find their way into our kitchens and bars, from pomegranates and figs to lemons, olives and aromatic herbs.

At the same time, we work systematically to reduce food waste through monitoring, staff training and everyday practices that help us use food and resources more responsibly.

Because a responsible approach to food is not only about what we serve. It is about recognising its value at every stage, from production and preparation to consumption.

Valuing every ingredient. Respecting every step. 🌱

On the International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction, we’re looking at the results behind our efforts at Neptune Luxury Resort.

Compared with the same period in 2024 (benchmarking year), guest nights increased by 13.4%, from 74,317 to 84,247. At the same time, food waste per guest night decreased from 0.328 kg to 0.281 kg, representing a 14.3% reduction.
The financial impact is equally significant, with the estimated cost of food waste decreasing by €16,369, a reduction of 14.6%.

These results reflect the consistent implementation of everyday practices, from monitoring food waste to making more thoughtful choices throughout our operations.

Small daily practices result in positive handprints, enhancing conscious luxury hospitality. 🏛️✨
