Αν αγαπάτε τις μεγάλες παραλίες με χρυσή άμμο και κρυστάλλινα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά, τότε η Παραλία Χαραχιά είναι ένας προορισμός που αξίζει να ανακαλύψετε.

Με μήκος περίπου 3,5 χιλιομέτρων, προσφέρει άνεση ακόμη και τις πιο πολυσύχναστες καλοκαιρινές ημέρες. Ένα τμήμα της είναι οργανωμένο με ομπρέλες, ξαπλώστρες και beach bar, ενώ παράλληλα διατηρεί τον ήρεμο και αυθεντικό χαρακτήρα της.

Τα νερά είναι κρυστάλλινα και ιδανικά για απολαυστικό κολύμπι. Καθώς βαθαίνουν σχετικά γρήγορα και σε αρκετά σημεία του βυθού υπάρχουν φυσικές βραχώδεις πλάκες, συνιστάται λίγη προσοχή κατά την είσοδο στη θάλασσα, ιδιαίτερα όταν υπάρχουν μικρά παιδιά.

Η Χαραχιά δεν ξεχωρίζει μόνο για την ομορφιά της. Η περιοχή αποτελεί σημαντικό φυσικό βιότοπο και κατά την περίοδο της ωοτοκίας έχουν παρατηρηθεί θαλάσσιες χελώνες Caretta caretta, γεγονός που αναδεικνύει τη μοναδική οικολογική αξία αυτής της όμορφης ακτής.

#1 Charachia Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches in the area, just 5 minutes from Villa Othon-Leni.

If you love long sandy beaches with golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, then Charachia Beach is a destination well worth discovering.

Stretching for approximately 3.5 kilometres, it offers plenty of space even during the busiest summer days. Part of the beach is organised with sunbeds, umbrellas and a beach bar, while still preserving its peaceful and authentic character.

The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming. As the sea becomes deep relatively quickly and natural rock formations can be found on parts of the seabed, a little extra care is recommended when entering the water, especially with young children.

Charachia Beach is not only known for its natural beauty. The area is also an important natural habitat, and during the nesting season Caretta caretta sea turtles have been observed here, highlighting the unique ecological value of this beautiful coastline.

💙 Charachia is one of those beaches that makes you want to return again and again. If you are visiting the area, it truly deserves a place on your summer itinerary.
