**Important to take note**
Laista is a remote village with very few residents. It becomes extra lively in August, when people from all over Greece return to their mother land, but other than that it is really peaceful. There is NO grocery store of ANY kind! So make sure to bring along anything you may need. There is a small tavern/cafe, though! - the notorious Robolo, where one can enjoy their meal under the thick shadow of the square' s plane trees. Expect decent but basic offerings and service.
