A peaceful holiday is also made possible by the work you never see.

While our guests are swimming, relaxing in the shade or enjoying a day at the beach, we are taking care of the small but important tasks that help keep Camp Peškera safe.

We regularly mow the grass, remove dry branches and fallen leaves, maintain the greenery, inspect our fire extinguishers and check the smoke detectors installed at key locations throughout the camp.

Since Camp Peškera opened, we have never needed to use our firefighting equipment—and we work carefully every day to keep it that way.

🌅 Have you ever tried to catch a sunset from the west coast of Istria?

There is something magical about watching the sun slowly disappear into the Adriatic.

Every evening paints a different picture — sometimes in deep orange and gold, sometimes in soft pink, purple and blue. And somehow, every sunset looks like it was made for a photograph. 🌅

We collected a few of our favourite sunsets from the west coast of Istria.

🌒 August 12 – Partial Solar Eclipse
From the P**a and Banjole area, the eclipse begins at around 19:27, with its maximum at approximately 20:12 — just as the Sun approaches the Adriatic horizon. A rather extraordinary combination of sunset and eclipse.

If you would like to watch it, please use certified solar eclipse glasses and protect your eyes and camera equipment with appropriate solar filters.

✨ And after sunset, keep looking up.

The night of August 12–13 brings the peak of the Perseid meteor shower — the famous “Tears of St. Lawrence”. This year, the peak coincides with a new moon, which means beautifully dark skies for watching shooting stars.

A little note about this video: although around 300 guests are waking up at Camp Peškera this week, you will not see them in our promotional footage.

We deeply respect the privacy of everyone who stays with us. We never expect our guests to share photos of their holiday, and we do not film them for promotional purposes.

For us, privacy is an essential part of a truly relaxing stay. And perhaps that is part of the magic of Camp Peškera — surrounded by the sea, lavender and Mediterranean nature, many of our guests simply forget about social media and become fully present in their holiday moments. 🌿🌊

Here, summer is not something you need to post. It is something you simply enjoy.

From above, Camp Peškera looks like a small green oasis by the Adriatic Sea — with comfortable mobile homes, refreshing swimming pools, a brand-new children’s playground and nature all around.

While August is in full swing, there are still a few mobile homes available for those who prefer the quieter side of summer.
