Nature is woven into the estate through the olive groves, our own garden where we pick seasonal vegetables for the kitchen, the old stone houses that preserve the village’s character, and the way the buildings sit within the existing landscape.

We love the creativity Chef Pavo Klarić brings to the kitchen, and the way a single ingredient can take on so many different expressions in his hands.

This autumn, the Istrian truffle from is at the center of that creativity. At Luciano, it takes on a different expression in Istrian beef tartare, ottofile polenta, and veal, before reappearing in a dessert with cacao, blueberries, and tonka.

Moving from savory to sweet, the truffle takes on a different character with each course, making it surprisingly difficult to choose a favorite.
