The house is surrounded by greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. Podhumlje is located at the foot of Hum - the highest peak on the island, which is how it got its name („pod“ in croatian means under). This is the first village you come

across when you go along the old road from Komiža to Vis. The charm of the villages of Vis is that they are still an undiscovered part of the island that lives through customs, traditions, local language and culture and are infused with agriculture and archaeological sites. Although 6km away from Komiža and about 1km from the sea, Podhumlje will attract those who enjoy the sounds of nature, the scent of nature, and who search for peace and quiet and a vacation away from the city noise.
