Island life on Vis has its own little rituals. During the season, the local baker and fruit & vegetable vendor stop by almost every day — so sometimes all you need to do is step outside with a bag.

Fresh bread and pastries for breakfast. Sweet figs, sun-ripened tomatoes and whatever happens to be best that morning.

And when you feel like exploring, we’ll happily point you towards our favourite local restaurants, services and experiences around the island.

This is one of those small things that makes staying on Vis feel less like visiting — and more like living here for a while.
