[FACES OF WATERMAN] Meet Ihala Gamage Thilani Nilanka! 😊

This is his second season at Hotel Milna Osam, but this year comes with a new role and a new challenge. After working as a dishwasher last season, he has now joined the kitchen team as a breakfast cook.

It’s a great example of how experience, dedication and willingness to learn can open the door to new opportunities within the team.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time by the sea, going to the beach and swimming whenever he gets the chance. And when it comes to Milna, he has only good things to say. He loves the place and describes it simply as very beautiful. 💙

A second season, a step forward in the kitchen and plenty of time by the Adriatic. We’re happy to have you back with us at Hotel Milna Osam! 😊

Meet Emiliano Retamar Ezequiel! 😊
This is Emiliano’s second season with Waterman Hotels & Resorts, but this summer comes with a new challenge.

After joining Hotel Milna Osam last year as a bartender, he is back in Milna as Assistant Manager, ready to take on more responsibility and a new role within the team. 💙

His Waterman journey has already taken him across Brač. He started last summer at Hotel Milna Osam, spent the winter at Hotel Osam in Supetar, and has now returned to Milna. Two places he describes as peaceful, picturesque and easy to enjoy.

Originally from Argentina, Emiliano has been living in Croatia for the past two years. Before that, his path took him through Denmark, Germany and Norway, and even through a completely different industry, working at one of Argentina’s major soybean processing plants in Santa Fe.

What does he enjoy most? Challenges, responsibility and the opportunity to keep learning. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find him working out, going out with friends, walking or hiking and making the most of island life. 💪
