A Message from Mala Luka
It is with heavy hearts that we share some very difficult news.
For those who may not yet have heard, particularly our guests and friends living abroad, we wanted to share this update directly.
The recent devastating fires in the area have caused significant damage to Mala Luka, with most of our structures unfortunately lost.
At this time, our hearts are with everyone in the community who has been affected by this terrible event. We are deeply grateful to those who have reached out to us with messages of concern, kindness and support. Every message has meant more to us than we can express.
Mala Luka has always been much more than a place — it is a place filled with memories, family, friendship and beautiful moments shared with so many of you. While this is an incredibly difficult time, we are holding onto those memories and looking toward the future.
For now, we ask for your understanding as we focus on the immediate work of clean-up and recovery and begin determining the road ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has thought of us, contacted us and kept Mala Luka in your hearts. ❤️
