There is a cute house in a heart of Omiš old town, in the city center,where, on the top floor (second floor) of the spiral staircase, you will find MiMa's Rooms. Each room is suitable for 2 persons and has its private bathroom with toiletry and hair dryer, a queen size bed, a clothes cabinet, a working table, a seating area, an espresso coffee machine with enough coffee for each morning of your st

ay, a kettle with tea selection, a small refrigerator and an air conditioner, TV, Wi-Fi and a shared smoking terrace. The house is just a few minutes walk from the long sandy beach and a doorstep away from the restaurants, small market with fresh fruits and vegetables, post office, cozy cafes… Even the bus stop to/from Split or Makarska is within a walking distance, as well as a small port for tourist excursion boats. Just a few meters away from the house, on the opposite side of the small city port, you can feel the cool breeze from the beautiful canyon of the Cetina river.

❤️ Omiš, our home, has been through some very difficult and frightening days.

The recent fire that affected parts of Omiš brought fear and uncertainty to our city. Some areas were directly threatened by the flames, and many residents and guests had to leave the affected areas and be evacuated to safety. It was a difficult sight for everyone, watching parts of our beautiful city surrounded by smoke and fire.

As a small family business in the heart of Omiš, we were fortunate that our property was not directly affected as severely as some others. But our hearts and thoughts are with everyone who was directly affected — those who had to leave their homes, businesses and accommodation, and everyone who suffered damage or loss.

What touched us deeply during these difficult days was the incredible concern and kindness shown by our guests. ❤️

Guests who had stayed with us reached out to ask if we were safe, if everything was okay, and whether our rooms and property had been affected. Some of them were far away, yet they were thinking about us and taking the time to send a message.

These messages may seem like just a few words, but at a moment like this, they mean so much. They remind us that hospitality is not only about rooms, bookings and holidays. It is about people, connections, memories and genuine human kindness.

To every guest who took the time to write to us, check on us, or simply send a message of support — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

We are deeply grateful and will remember your kindness with great respect.

And to everyone in Omiš who has been affected by the fire: our thoughts are with you. We stand together with our community and hope that our beautiful city will recover, heal and become even stronger.
