Pirovac is a lively, very beautiful town with many natural endowments. It is situated at the farthest western point of the county of Sibenik and Knin.

Industrious hands of few inhabitants ornamented it through past centuries with historic monuments of lasting value. Pirovac is a municipal centre and, next to Primosten, Vodice, Murter, the most important municipal tourist centre of the Sibenik riviera. Mild climate, well-indented coast, numerous coves and sandy beaches, vegetation, pine forests and centenary olive-groves, clean and warm sea, magnificent sunsets, beauty of the coastal region – guarantee unique delights and experiences to all visitors of Pirovac. Beautiful coves, Sitnica, Vrulje, Makirina and Vrilo with their pebbly beaches and clear sea are very charming and a special attraction is the islet of Sustipanac, situated right in front of Pirovac, where you can relax and enjoy swimming and sun tanning. In cove Makirina sites of peloid mud were found. This mud is very curative. Pirovac is very close to two National Parks – “Kornati” and “Krka” and it is only 5 kilometres away from the Park of Nature “Vransko jezero”, which is very suitable for recreational fishing. Via the Adriatic Highway Pirovac is connected with cultural and historical centres, such as Sibenik, Zadar, Trogir and Split. Accommodation is arranged in comfortable suites, rooms, campsites and hotel-tourist complex “Miran”. Gastronomic pleasure and most famous Dalmatian specialties can be found in private restaurants, taverns, pizzerias and the offer is complete with attractive cafés and nightclubs.

🇭🇷🫒🌿 OD PIROVAČKIH MASLINA DO DOMAĆEG MASLINOVOG ULJA! 💚

Naša tradicionalna berba maslina na pirovačkoj rivi i ove je godine donijela lijepe rezultate! ☀️

🫒 404 kg ubranih maslina
🌿 11 % randmana
🫙 Oko 44 kg domaćeg maslinovog ulja

Kao i prethodnih godina, dobiveno maslinovo ulje koristit će se za potrebe našeg dječjeg vrtića i škole, na događanjima te kao prigodan poklon.

Ova lijepa tradicija nije samo berba maslina, već i priča o zajedništvu, očuvanju dalmatinske baštine i ljubavi prema našem Pirovcu. 💙

🇬🇧🫒🌿 FROM PIROVAC’S OLIVE TREES TO HOMEMADE OLIVE OIL! 💚

Our traditional olive harvest along the Pirovac waterfront has once again brought wonderful results! ☀️

🫒 404 kg of olives harvested
🌿 11% oil yield
🫙 Around 44 kg of locally produced olive oil

As in previous years, the olive oil will be used by our local kindergarten and school, at community events, and as special gifts.

This beautiful tradition is about much more than harvesting olives. It is a celebration of togetherness, Dalmatian heritage, and our love for Pirovac. 💙

❤️ A heartfelt thank you to Sladić Olive Mill for processing the olives, the Pirovac Volunteer Fire Department (DVD Pirovac) for their logistical support, and everyone who took part in this year’s harvest!

🇭🇷🫒🌿 BRANJE MASLINA NA PIROVAČKOJ RIVI 💚

Danas je na pirovačkoj rivi održano zajedničko branje maslina u kojem su sudjelovali djelatnici Općine Pirovac, Vrila d.o.o., djelatnici škole te učenici škole. Branju maslina pridružio se i načelnik Općine Pirovac Ivan Gulam te direktor Turističke zajednice Pirovac Poldo Jelušić. 🫒😊

Uz druženje i zajednički rad, naši su najmlađi imali priliku sudjelovati u jednoj od najljepših dalmatinskih tradicija – berbi maslina. 🌿💚

Ovakve aktivnosti povezuju generacije, čuvaju našu tradiciju i podsjećaju nas koliko su masline važan dio života i identiteta našega kraja.

Hvala svima koji su sudjelovali i pridonijeli ovom lijepom zajedničkom događanju! 🫒💙

🇬🇧🫒🌿 OLIVE HARVEST ON THE PIROVAC WATERFRONT 💚

Today, a community olive harvest took place along the Pirovac waterfront, bringing together employees of the Municipality of Pirovac, Vrilo d.o.o., school staff and students. The Mayor of Pirovac, Ivan Gulam, also joined in the olive harvest. 🫒😊

Through teamwork and spending time together, our youngest participants had the opportunity to experience one of Dalmatia’s most cherished traditions – the olive harvest. 🌿💚

Activities like these bring generations together, keep our traditions alive and remind us how important olive trees are to the life and identity of our region.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this such a lovely community event! 🫒💙
