AND WITH THAT, SUMMER 2026 ENDS. 🌞

Iza svake savršeno složene sobe, čistih plahti, blistavog bazena i pogleda koji ostavlja bez riječi... postoji priča koju naši gosti najčešće ne vide.

Kante. Prašina. Boja na rukama.
Zidovi koje treba obnoviti.
Pločice kojima treba ponovno udahnuti život.
Stari portun kojem je trebalo vratiti sjaj.

Dani rada, čišćenja, pranja, popravljanja, ponavljanja… i još malo rada.

A onda — vrata se otvore.
Villa Gigi zasja.
I sve odjednom ima smisla. ✨

Summer 2026, you were something special. ❤️

It’s a home with a soul. 🤍🪽

Maybe it’s time to bring postcards back. ❤️

In a world of instant messages, voice notes and photos that disappear in 24 hours, there is something beautifully romantic about a postcard.

Choosing one.
Writing it by hand.
Finding the right words.
Adding a stamp.
And sending a little piece of your holiday to someone you love.

At Villa Gigi, we like to believe that some things are worth bringing back...slow mornings, long dinners around the table, handwritten memories and postcards from places that felt like home.

Because the best memories were never meant to live only on a screen.

Maybe romance isn’t old-fashioned.
Maybe we simply forgot how beautiful it was. ✉️

Today we celebrate the birthday of the man who started it all.

Villa Gigi is more than a house.
It is a place built with love, dedication and the belief that every guest should feel at home.

We are grateful to continue the story you began.

Happy Birthday. 🤍😇

To everyone who has ever stayed at Villa Gigi - thank you for being part of this story.

The best holiday memories are often the ones you never saw coming. ✨

Some summer evenings need nothing more than good company, a glass of w**e, and a concert under the stars....right outside Villa Gigi. 🤍🥂

This couch has seen more guests than I can count. 😊

Stone walls, old paintings, the scent of wood...everything stayed exactly as my uncle imagined it. Nothing here was "designed for Instagram."
Everything is real, everything has its own story.

Picture an evening after a long day.....everyone together on this couch, stories being retold, laughter echoing through walls that are over a hundred years old.
This isn't just a living room. It's a place where families reconnect and create memories that last.

Villa Gigi is waiting for you. 🏡🤍

Every room has a name.
This one is Điđi 12.

Named after the man who built it.
Who slept here. Who dreamed here.
Who made this place what it is.

Some details you only notice if you're looking. 📸

He built the pool by hand.
Laid every stone around it.

Chose this exact spot so guests could see the whole valley.

He didn't build a rental.
He built a place where people could finally stop.

This is what that looks like.

Some mornings I walk through this place and still can't believe I get to look after it.
Every stone, every corner — someone else's hands built this. Someone who loved it more than anything.

I'm still learning how to carry that.
But I show up every day and try.

That's all I know how to do.
