Ovaj mali otočić dugačak je svega 15 kilometara i ima samo jedno naseljeno mjesto-Silba. Na otoku nema prometa i idealan je za turiste željne mirnog i tihog odmora. Silba nudi smještaj u apartmanima i sobama obiteljskih kuća čiji domaćini s veseljem i gostoprimstvom dočekuju svoje goste. Mjestom dominira predivna pješčana plaža Sutorišće koja je najpopularnija među mlađim naraštajima, zbog kristalno čistog mora i dugih plićaka omiljeno je mjesto za dječiju igru. The island of Silba is the northernmost Dalmatian island, about 15 km large. The similar named settlement has developed at the narrowest and the undermost part of the island, between the western and eastern ports. Silba is known for its chain of adorable pebble basins (Žalić, Pocukmarak, Papranica) and sand beaches (Šotorišće, Južni Porat, Pernastica). Moreover, the clarity of the sea and rich undereater made Silba the host of the 21st Underwater Fishing Word Championship. A walk through the village and its outskirts will give you a chance to enjoy in the rich odour of healthy and aromatic plants that Silba has in abundance: Lady's mantle, mynth, sage... We must also mention a rich gastronomy that Silba offers with its number of restaurants and taverns, caffe bars ... You can buy supplies in a few well-equipped grocery stores, and locals and their guests can find medical help and a doctor in a local dispensary. The island of Silba, "the island of pedestrians" is for sure a very good choice for your complete leisure and relaxation. http://www.silba.org/Rooms_matilda.htm
