🌴 Travel with Care – Stay Safe When Booking Your Holiday
From planning your trip to making a booking and enjoying your stay, a few simple online safety habits can help you travel with greater peace of mind. 🔒✈️
Knowing what to look out for can help you recognise unusual messages, verify booking and payment requests, and protect your personal information throughout your journey.
Before you click, pay or share any information, remember:
✅ PAUSE – Be careful with unexpected messages, especially those creating urgency or asking you to act immediately.
✅ CHECK – Compare the message with your original booking confirmation. Check the sender, website address, booking details and payment conditions.
✅ VERIFY – If something seems unusual, contact the hotel or your travel provider through an official channel you already know to be genuine.
A few extra things to keep in mind:
✔️ Don’t rely only on the displayed sender name or email address.
✔️ Be cautious with unexpected payment requests, links and QR codes.
✔️ If you booked through a travel partner, check your reservation directly in their official website or app.
✔️ Never share passwords, one-time security codes or sensitive payment information in response to an unexpected message.
🌞 Take a moment to verify before you act – and keep your holiday focused on relaxation, experiences and great memories. Read more tips in our article 👉
