Morning coffee by your own private pool in Villa Nolan Bali's spacious tropical garden sure is nice. But for the mornings when you want to just roll out of bed and enjoy a fresh brewed coffee, refreshing smoothie, avocado toast, omelet, or breshly baked goodies like croissants and cinnamon rolls, then Center Cafe is only meters away.
Just walk up our quiet lane to the street and this quaint cafe with friendly staff is right there a few step on your right!

Mimi has given the new dining chairs her seal of approval. She's smart enough to know the cream sofa covers are off limits. Villa Nolan Bali staff already diligently scrub and bleach them in between guests. Maybe next time we go with sage green?!
The villa is booked from Christmas through to New Years, but how about a Spring Break or any other well-deserved break?

Villa Nolan Bali staff fwere busy today preparing for guest check in. We're so pleased to see the villa's cat ambassador in her usual haunt. For a few weeks, Mimi has not been around as much. Although neighbours have seen her.
Guests should note that Mimi has dry cat food the housekeeper sets out, and Mimi is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has parasite control.
She's such a sweetie. We can't wait to see her again on our next trip - which is too far away for our liking. Actually, we had to push our annual trip because a family already booked early July 2026 before we could block off the calendar!
Sooner the better, is a good Bali motto.

An unexpected - but definitely most welcome, guest. A first in our decade of Bali holiday stays, Villa Nolan Bali now has a dedicated and super friendly ginger lady in charge of both pest control and guest relations. Ha ha.
Mimi has been welcomed by recent guests, and since the villa is free of other cat competition, she has really settled in.
Mimi is spayed, vaccinated, and has parasite control.
Villa Nolan’s booking listings will be updated to advise potential guests that Mimi comes and goes. The garden walls are no match for her determination to claim a villa of her own down our quiet lane. Hello, Mimi.

Forget dry or rainy, the season is unofficially called Kite Season. We’re up to 15 of them overhead. Some a little too close for comfort, while others mere specs miles in the sky.

New grass coming soon. The uneven garden lawn has been dug up (by hand) and new soil leveled out for better drainage, and of course looks! The grass seeds get planted today (again, by hand). It should be green again before the next guests arrive.
It takes a lot of work to maintain a holiday villa anywhere, and the tropics can be especially hard on the infrastructure + surface decoration.
A huge thanks to all the hardworking people keeping Villa Nolan Bali in great condition.
