Developed from a family shophouse which privately owned since early 60s, transformed into a warehouse, and finally revived as a hostel that offer modern designed, comfort and convenient location. The TPL is situated at the heart of Chinatown area with rich historical surrounding such as Candranaya , Gedung Arsip (De Klerk's Mansion), Catholic Church of St. Maria de Fatima, and Jin De Yuan temple.
Further north, still within walking distance, is the Old City Hall Complex; refer by Jakartan as Kota Tua. The complex includes Museum Fatahilah (Stadhuis), Puppet & Textile Museum, BIOS train station, Museum Bank Mandiri, Museum Bank Indonesia, Rumah Merah, Gereja Sion (The Portugese Church), and Sunda Kelapa port. Convenient wise, we are just off Gajah Mada street, close to Busway stop. There are also close-by cafes, restaurant, and food stalls that offer local and international foods till late at night. Supermarket, convenience shops, money changers, and rich of nightlife are just around the corners. All our rooms are air conditioned and WIFI equipped.
