Why we highly recommend Private Mount Batur Sunrise Trek (compared to Group Trip)

🌞 Depart much later. 2.45am compared to 1.30am.
🌞Get dropped at reception of start point, not in a car park or a long way from track.
Driver will assist you at departure point until you meet the guide.
🌞 Departure point offers free tea, coffee, water, biscuits and has clean toilets.
🌞 Private guide will help you during the trek. Not one guide trying to help 4 – 6 persons.
🌞 Track used is significantly less busy than public tracks.
🌞 Hike at your own pace a day have breaks when you need.

If climbing Mount Batur is on your bucket list (and it should) but your value your sleep or just aren’t early riser then staying in Ubud makes perfect sense. Upon arrival the cool air is invigorating, it’s hard to believe this temperate is in Bali. At 4.30am the hike commences along a private track to reach the top between 5.30 & 6am. Enroute back to Bisma Cottages stop for breakfast at a Kintamani Café with a magnificent view of Mt Batur. After returning to Bisma Cottages time for shower, swim and sleep before a 90 Minute Relaxing Balinese Massages. You deserve it !
On final morning enjoy a private Floating Indonesian Breakfast.
