Cocotinos Manado is a boutique beach resort located within Wori Bay in the heart of Kima Bajo, a fishing village overlooking the Bunaken National Marine Park, world famous for its rich and astounding, wall and macro scuba diving. A mere 25-minute drive from Manado’s Sam Ratulangi International Airport brings you to the resort, nestled on a chocolate-coloured beach in full view of Siladen Island and Manado Tua, a majestic dormant volcano across the Sulawesi Sea. In the vast, sandy slopes of Manado, survival often means looking like nothing at all.

Enter the Black Frogfish. To the untrained eye, it’s just a dark, fuzzy lump clinging to a piece of rubble. But to a macro diver, it’s a breathtaking find. This juvenile is already showing off the incredible camouflage and quirky "fishing rod" behaviour that makes frogfish so fascinating.

Celebrating our journey by making a real impact on the community. Marking the 19th Anniversary of Cocotinos Manado and the 22nd Anniversary of Odyssea Divers, we express our gratitude through the initiatives detailed in the "Program CSR Cocotinos Manado.pptx" document. Guided by our theme, "Sharing Love, Caring for Others, Growing Together," we are committed to thriving alongside the coastal community of Kima Bajo and its surroundings.
We brought this commitment to life through our Three Pillars of Care:

1. Social Care: Sharing happiness with orphans around the resort area by distributing essential groceries, nutritional support, and school supplies.
2. Village Infrastructure: Constructing a well house (Parigi Pongo) as a communal facility to ensure stable access to clean water and prevent illnesses caused by poor coastal sanitation.
3. Local Youth Empowerment: Equipping village youth with full SSI Open Water Diver certifications—covering diving theory, confined water training, and open water dives up to 18 meters—to train a new generation of professional Dive Guides.

Held on October 7, 2026, these long-term initiatives are designed to create economic independence in the marine tourism sector, improve community health, and empower local youth as the frontline protectors of the Bunaken coral reefs. We are incredibly proud to be an inseparable part of Kima Bajo Village's progress.

“Growing Together, Giving Back”

As we celebrate the 19th Anniversary of Cocotinos Manado, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that has been part of our journey.

Through our CSR program in Kima Bajo Village, we came together with the local community to support the improvement of village facilities and create a better environment for everyone.

This celebration is more than a milestone, it is a reminder that true hospitality goes beyond welcoming guests. It is about caring for our neighbors, building meaningful connections, and growing together with the community around us.
