The BrookLodge is a luxurious country house hotel situated in the beautiful Macreddin Village and surrounded by spectacular Wicklow countryside, yet only an hour's drive from South Dublin. We have eighty-six bedrooms, many of which feature four poster or sleigh beds with window seats where you can admire the stunning views while contemplating your plans (or lack of them!) for the day. comprises of state-of-the-art mezzanine suites, brimming with all the latest accessories and luxuries from the 21st century. In The Strawberry Tree Restaurant, Ireland’s first certified Organic & Wild Restaurant, we use only organic and wild foods, prepared expertly and served in possibly Ireland’s most dramatic dining rooms, whilst in La Taverna Armento, a genuine Italian menu, inspired by our twin village of Armento in southern Italy, is offered. The Waterside Lounge is a perfect spot for unwinding and on fine summer days you can sit out by Ballycreen Brook. Our luxury spa - The Wells, sources its extravagant experiences and water features from around the globe. Across the road is Macreddin Golf Course designed by Irish Ryder Cup Hero and European Cup Captain Paul McGinley and incorporating 160 acres of statuesque pines and meandering brooks in a designated area of outstanding beauty. In the village we have Acton's Country Pub & Brewery, The Orchard Café, an Organic Bakery & Smokehouse along with "The Storerooms" and we even have our very own Chapel.

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague, Andrew, earlier this week.

Andrew was a dedicated baker whose hard work and passion were reflected in everything he baked. He was more than a crew member he was a valued friend whose kindness, humour, and his warm smile made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Andrew started working in BrookLodge in 2007 and will be greatly missed by all of us, especially his partner Oktawia. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, past and present colleagues, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest In Peace, Andrew. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the joy you brought to BrookLodge. You will never be forgotten by your BrookLodge extended family and will remain always in our hearts ♥️
