❤️ Congratulations to the Newlyweds, Louise & John! ❤️💍

What a wonderful day celebrating the wedding of the lovely Louise & John, who held their wedding reception with us last weekend at the Great National Hotel Ballina! 🥂✨

One of our favourite little touches from their special day was the warm welcome they arranged for their guests on arrival from the church – a lovely, comforting bowl of hot soup! 🍲❤️ Such a thoughtful idea and a perfect way to warm everyone up before the celebrations began!

🍦 And of course, a special mention to the fantastic Noble Ice Cream Cart, which was a wonderful treat for guests and added an extra little bit of sweetness to the celebrations! 🍨✨

It's these lovely personal touches that make every wedding so unique and memorable. ❤️

We were absolutely delighted to host the beautiful wedding of Michelle & Michael, who celebrated their special day surrounded by their nearest and dearest. 💕

The happy couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful, intimate ceremony in our Ox Suite, before continuing the celebrations with a fabulous wedding reception in our Oak Suite. 💐🍾

🎭 WHAT A FANTASTIC NIGHT OF LOCAL TALENT! 🎭🌟

We were absolutely delighted to host the Ballina Stars Extravaganza here at the Great National Hotel Ballina last weekend 💫

What an incredible celebration of local talent, community spirit and generosity, all coming together in support of the wonderful Ballina Arts Centre. ❤️

👏 A huge congratulations to all the talented performers who took to the stage and entertained everyone throughout the evening. What a fantastic showcase of the talent we have right here in North Mayo!

A special well done to the organisers, volunteers and everyone involved in putting together such a memorable event. The hard work and dedication behind the scenes certainly paid off!

Community events like this are what make Ballina such a special place! 🥰

New Wedding Vow Renewal *****

We had our 20th Anniversary and Vow Renewal at The Great National Hotel in August, and this was something that meant so much to us. From the get-go, we knew this was the venue for us.

I think Denise was as excited as we were about planning this special event, and her enthusiasm, attention to detail and diligence helped shape the day into something our family will never forget.

Every request we had was met with a “no problem,” and every idea and detail was accommodated. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and that made the whole planning process so enjoyable and stress-free.

The whole team at The Great National were absolutely excellent, and each and every person played a part in making our day so special.

We couldn't recommend this hotel enough for your special day. The feedback from our friends and family was exceptional. The food, service, refreshments and decorations were all talking points, and we've had so many people tell us that they would consider the hotel for their own future events.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would once again like to thank Denise and all the staff at The Great National for making our day so wonderful and for helping us create so many happy memories with our family and friends that we will treasure forever.
