Cork County Council will present more than 150 free events across towns, villages and islands throughout the county as part of Culture Night 2026.

This year's programme places a special spotlight on musical talent from across the county, bringing performances to unexpected and unique locations.

Coordinated by Cork County Council and funded by the Arts Council, Culture Night shines a light on the diverse, dynamic and creative communities that make Cork County a leading cultural destination.

The events all take place on Friday, 18 September 2026, from 4pm until late. All events are free to attend, although advance booking is required for some.

Léireoidh Comhairle Contae Chorcaí breis agus 150 imeacht ar fud bailte, sráidbhailte agus oileán ó cheann ceann an chontae le linn d'Oíche Chultúir 2026.

Leagtar béim sa chlár i mbliana ar cheoltóirí cumasacha ar fud an chontae agus tabharfar léirithe go dtí áiteanna ar leith nach mbeifí ag súil lena leithéid iontu de ghnáth.

Is í Comhairle Contae Chorcaí a chomhordaíonn Oíche Chultúir agus an Chomhairle Ealaíon a mhaoiníonn í. Is ócáid í a tharraingíonn aird ar na pobail bhríomhara chruthaitheacha an-éagsúil is cúis le Contae Chorcaí a bheith ina cheann scríbe cultúir iontach.

Tarlóidh na himeachtaí uile Dé hAoine, an 18 Meán Fómhair 2026, ón 4 i.n. go dtí go déanach san oíche. Is féidir freastal ar gach imeacht saor in aisce, ach caithfear cuid acu a chur in áirithe roimh ré.

For many years we have hosted here in Levis the storytellers of Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival as they make their way home after the Cape festival…
Storytelling in Levis this Monday evening 7.30pm show - Pass The Hat Gig.
Master Tellers Peter Chand Storyteller and Sarah Lisa Wilkinson.
This early evening event is one of our favorite ways to mark the end of the summer….gathering together to listen and share stories..
We’ve had unforgettable evenings with Len Colin Urwin Liz Weir Eimear Burke, & many more..many have hopped up on the night ..

Thank you to Daphne and the Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival team for organizing and including us landlubbers each year on top of putting together one of the loveliest festivals in Ireland ❤️🙏🏻 🐳
