A piece of heaven on the side of a hill with view 🥰 Two bedrooms with beds for 7 people.

A piece of heaven on the side of a hill with views to die for. As well as a cot bed and two extra double air-mattresses, both on request if a larger group. Only up the hill from both Baltimore and the famous Lough Hyne Nature Reserve a beautiful walk away . A short boat trip to both Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands. A great base for seeing all West Cork on both land and sea. Everyone comes back. :)

🏆 BALTIMORE IS FOOD VILLAGE OF THE YEAR! 💚

The Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards have recognised what a remarkable food village Baltimore has become.

The Algiers is enormously proud to share this award with Babade, Bushe's Bar, Caseys of Baltimore, Dede, Jacob Bar at the Waterfront Hotel and La Jolie Brise, and Rolf Country House & Restaurant.

For us, it completes an extraordinary week, coming just days after our own team was named Cork Regional Winner for Outstanding Customer Service at the Irish Pub Awards.

Congratulations to everyone across these businesses who cooks, serves, pours, cleans, welcomes and keeps going through the long summer days and the quieter months of winter. And thank you to every local and visitor who chooses to eat and drink in Baltimore.

Food Village of the Year. Not bad for a village of fewer than 400 people. 🥂
