Wild Hideaways was created for switching off from the noise and reconnecting with the things we so easily lose touch with — nature, stillness and ourselves.

Six secluded hideaways, each with their own private outdoor bath. Wild landscapes on the doorstep, space to wander, a Sanctuary to restore tired bodies and skies that become something extraordinary after dark.
There’s no pressure to fill your days here.

Sleep late. Take your coffee outside. Follow a path simply because you’re curious where it goes. Sink into warm water beneath an open sky. Watch the weather roll across the valley. Stay up for the stars.

Meet Jinx, who made the journey all the way from Dublin to West Cork with Susi and Conor for a little Wild Hideaways escape.❤️❤️❤️

By all accounts, she was delighted with her stay — sniffing her way around the countryside and making the most of sunny mornings with a spot of sunbathing.🌻

Her humans seemed pretty happy too:
“We had an amazing time and will definitely come back for a longer stay.”❤️❤️

Truly dark skies are becoming increasingly rare. With artificial light spreading across our nights, fewer of us get to experience real darkness — the kind where your eyes adjust, more stars begin to appear and the night sky comes alive.

A little parcel of loveliness has arrived...🌻🌻🌻

The moment we opened the box, it felt like stepping into a wild garden after rain.🌾

Soft herbs, summer flowers, damp earth and all the quiet beauty of something made slowly by hand.

After teasing our new soap supplier earlier this week, we’re so happy to finally share what was inside.

These beautiful soaps are handmade by an Irish maker .at.the.wrens.nest , using natural ingredients and botanicals grown in her own garden.

🌻 Each one feels like a little piece of the wild brought indoors.🌾

And that’s exactly why they feel so at home here.
At Wild Hideaways, every detail is chosen with care.

The things you touch, the scents you notice, the little comforts waiting quietly for you when you arrive.

Because true luxury isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s the scent of flowers beside the sink. A handmade soap after a long soak. A small reminder that nature has a way of making us feel cared for.

These soaps are gentle, beautiful, rooted in the earth and created by a woman whose values align so closely with ours.🌙💕

Created as a place to slow down, look up and reconnect with the night sky, the Wild Sky Dome offers a truly unique experience beneath some of West Cork’s beautifully dark skies.

Wild Hideaways is proud to be Europe’s first DarkSky Approved Lodging, recognised for our commitment to protecting and celebrating the natural darkness that makes this part of the world so special.

Step inside the dome, get comfortable beneath the stars and spend an evening discovering the night sky through our telescope, accompanied by an immersive narrated soundtrack created to accompany your journey through the stars.🌙
Away from bright lights and everyday distractions, there is something quite extraordinary about simply taking the time to look up.
