What. A. Weekend.

Bantry, you were something else! 💙💙💙

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making the All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships in Bantry such an incredible success.

It was wonderful to see our beautiful town so busy, with teams, families and supporters travelling from all over Ireland to experience Bantry. The atmosphere, the craic and the incredible welcome they received was something really special.

This weekend was a fantastic example of what happens when a whole town gets behind an event. From the organisers and volunteers, to the Civil Defence, Bantry Business Association, Bantry Bay Port Co., Cork Co. Council, main sponsors O’Keeffe’s SuperValu, The Westlodge Hotel, The Maritime Hotel, Cremin Coaches and everyone who played their part last weekend.

Our hotels, pubs, restaurants and venues kept the celebrations going with live music and entertainment, while businesses throughout the town opened their doors and welcomed visitors with the famous Bantry hospitality 😃

To everyone who helped, sponsored, volunteered, served, entertained, directed, organised, cleaned, supported and simply got behind the weekend - thank you!

And to all the crews, families and supporters who travelled to Bantry, we hope you enjoyed your time here and got a taste of what makes our town so special.

We were delighted to have you. 💙

A weekend like this doesn't happen without a community pulling together - and Bantry certainly did that.

We are enjoying another spell of good weather here in Bantry for the next week, so now is a great time to visit and be welcomed by St. Brendan 💙

Our next festival is Ellen Hutchins starting 16th Aug., then Bantry Show is on Sunday 17th Aug. with Masters of Tradition Festival starting on the 20th Aug.

So still lots going on in Bantry and lots of summer memories still to be made!
