A warning has been issued to beachgoers after a Portuguese Man O' War was spotted on a Donegal beach this weekend.

The public are advised to stay clear of the dangerous creature, which looks similar to a jellyfish.

Advice about what to do if you receive a Man O' War sting has also been issued by a local Coast Guard station.
