On Friday, 13th November, we look forward to welcoming Jean-Paul Wassink of Maison Delas Frères to Ballynahinch Castle for a special evening celebrating the w**es of France’s Northern Rhône.

The evening will begin with a glass of Ch*****ne Deutz, followed by a seasonal four-course dinner featuring produce from our Walled Garden and carefully sourced Irish ingredients, with each course paired with w**es from Maison Delas Frères.

Jean-Paul will guide guests through the w**es throughout the evening, sharing the stories behind this historic w**e house, founded in 1835.

This month, Cian and the team are already looking ahead. More than 11,000 tulip bulbs are waiting to be planted, seeds are being collected for next year and crimson clover will soon cover empty vegetable beds.

We're delighted to announce that Yoga Mara will return to Ballynahinch Castle this November for a three-night winter retreat, from 15–18 November 2026.

Expect yoga and meditation, breathwork, good food and plenty of time to enjoy the quiet of our 700-acre estate.

The retreat includes three nights’ accommodation, six yoga and meditation classes, a breathwork workshop, breakfast and dinner each day, all yoga equipment, a personalised journal and Yoga Mara gift bag.
