As we prepare for some really exciting events to take place in The Booley as part of Clifden Arts Festival, we are taking a moment to reflect on Gather. Our very first event in this space was a pop-up restaurant, no less!! This event ticked so many of our goals it was real ‘pinch me’ stuff. Collaborating with two gorgeous people who are so passionate about what they do, food. Katie Sanderson and Jasper O’Connor, both knocked it out of the park serving up the most spectacular dishes at each event. ✔️Serving our own organic produce on our farm to a room full of locals and guests.. ✔️Working with our kids who were brilliant from begnning to end (we won’t talk about the tense moments!), Rory behind the scenes and Lainey on the floor. ✔️Making new friends, Jonny and Lily from the recently opened RUDAÍ were a joy to get to know and work with throughout. ✔️ But most of all it felt so good to welcome in all our friends and neighbours to Fernwood, that we finally have a space to open our doors to our community. ✔️Here are some gorgeous photos taken by another dear friend Karlan Lemmen which capture one of the nights just perfectly.
