🍂 A little note about our magnificent Cork Oak (Quercus suber) on the front lawn! If you've noticed leaves falling from this approximately 200-year-old beauty in May, please don't be alarmed — it is perfectly healthy! Unlike most trees, the Quercus suber sheds its leaves in spring rather than autumn. It's simply following its own remarkable natural cycle.

What makes this tree even more special? Cork Oaks are incredibly rare in Ireland, and ours is considered one of the largest in the country. Two centuries old and still going strong — we are very lucky to have it! 🌿✨
