FANCY COMING ALONG FOR AN EARLY BREAK AND HELP US SPRUCE UP THE PLACE? CHAINSAWS, CRAFTS, AND CAMPFIRE PROJECTS THAT NEVER HAPPEN - PUT IN A FEW HOURS A DAY THIS FEBRUARY AND THERE’S NO CHARGE TO STAY WITH US.
We hope you’ve had a terrific time over the festive period - we know it’s not always the easiest of times…! (Especially if you also live with a love child of Victor Meldrew and Basil Fawlty…)
This February, friends of Sleepy Hollows are invited to come and stay at the campsite for free in exchange for helping to tackle a few jobs on the list. It’s not just logging trees and heavy-duty strimming a new nature and dog walk - there’s flowers, plants and strawberries and pretty crafty things too! Some bits for the budding or old-hat A/V and comm’s folks - and if you like paint, tools, hardware and screws, want to build and fix things or indulge your craving for chainsaw carving.

What is your connection to Sleepy Hollows:
Facilities will be open, though services will be limited (Ian and Nic might not always be on-hand and some areas won’t be 100%), and keeping the place clean will fall on those folks staying. There may be the odd disruption to said facilities if project shenanigans are in process, but anyone onsite is signing up to agree only one grinch is allowed here - the rest must show happiness in the face of adversity, enjoy the camaraderie, and keep their glass half full.
Hopefully see you in 2026! We’re looking ahead to reopening mid-March this year and can’t wait to see your beautiful smiling faces rocking up to our little place and shape your Donegal camping home from home. The valleys, mountains, and beaches are waiting for you!
