Join us tonight Friday August 21st for our next 'No Menu Roulette' Night of the summer ... what started out as a bit of an experiment has turned out to be very popular with us getting more bookings every week. We only have two nights left, August 28th being the last one.
Something different to go to, and it's ideal to share the food and the night with friends. Basically, people take a table as normal and order drinks as normal (a new cocktail/drinks list is in place) and servers will then bring food from the kitchen (in small, bite size portions) … it's random, the customer will not know what is coming next, we will have approx. Up to 16 different types of food, (all fresh and Irish origin produce) and approx 5/6 dessert/sweets as well. People can pick and choose what they want, if they pick one, we charge for it. Most dishes will be served in 2's or 4's to encourage sharing. We think it will be something different and will be enjoyable. A new tray of food comes out from the kitchen every 5/10 minutes, customers choose what they want and so on and so on. Food bites cost in a range €1 to €5 depending on what it is. So it's on again this Friday night starting 9pm,... booking advised on 094 92 55050

€300,000 spent on a bike shed in Dublin to accommodate half a dozen bikes, and understandably there is universal outrage and wall to wall media coverage.

Yet, nearly 5 times that was spent on the Collooney-Bellaghy project before the plug was mysteriously pulled and not a word out of any media outlet in Sligo, not a line in either the Sligo Champion or Sligo Weekender, nor a single sentence uttered on Ocean FM!!!

Has a vow of silence being taken ??, whose feathers are they afraid of ruffling??

What sayeth our 3 Govt TDs ???? 2 of whom are Ministers by the way

What about our County Councillors?. Some of them do have plenty to say about everything and anything when the mood takes them. Who put a muzzle on them?

To paraphrase Shakespeare "....something is rotten in the County of Sligo!..."
